Hikage Sumino is an eighth-grader, very shy and a little awkward. Although she has always gone to the same school, no one knows her...or even remembers her name. She might as well be invisible.
And then one day, two of the most popular boys in class, Hinata and Teru, come up and talk to her. Hinata even knows her name! It is so unbelievable!

When Hikage gets home, she goes onto the Internet to her blog site and makes contacts with her only two faceless friends, Black Rabbit and Mega Pig. After she tells them what happened, they give her advice, and Hikage makes a decision. She is going to turn her life around!
But it isn't easy. The other girls are jealous of the attention Hikage is receiving from Hinata, and she becomes the target of bullying.
