Return of the Dapper Men

The mysterious topsy-turvy land of Anorev is very strange. The human residents are all under the age of eleven. All they do is play. They play so hard, it seems like work and is never fun. The children live underground, surrounded by intricate gear-driven mechanisms, pillow forts, and tree houses, while above ground, elegant robots live in abandoned Victorian mansions. The two groups hardly interact, and the children never grow older. Time has ceased to exist in Anorev.

So the children and robots are stuck living in the same day, the same time, until 314 dapper men dressed in pin-stripe suits, wearing bowler hats, rain down from the sky and scatter through the land. They are there to fix time.
But why did time stop, Ayden asks? Ayden is the only child who still asks questions.
