EllRay's last school progress report wasn't too great. It says his behavior needs to improve. It's not that he's really bad...he just likes to make everyone laugh!
So his parents come up with an idea. If he can stay out of trouble for a whole week, they will all go to Disneyland. You'd think it would be a piece of cake, right? All he has to do is lay low and shut up!

But Jared has it out for EllRay. He's the school bully, and all week long he taunts and teases and threatens EllRay.
Why does Jared hate him so? Is it because EllRay is black or the shortest kid in the class? (Shorter than even the girls.) Is it because EllRay does better class work? By the end of the week, EllRay has had it. The heck with Disneyland. Time to stand up to Jared.
