| For New Mexico's Battle of the Books, students read books from an approved list of twenty titles, and then compete with their peers using their knowledge from those books in a competition that is conducted and organized by local schools or the local public library system. The elementary school competition is designed for students in grades four and five, and these are the selections for 2014. |
