about the book
All of her memories are gone.
Seventeen-year-old Samantha doesn’t know who she is when she wakes up in a hospital, where she has been taken after being missing for four days. The dehydration, concussion, and shock don’t help matters either.
She’s told that her best friend Cassie is still missing.
With the help of her brother and newfound friend Carson Ortiz, she realizes that the version of herself that she can’t remember was popular, powerful, and mean. And Cassie was more of a frenemy than a friend.
As she tries to figure out what happened on the night she and Cassie went missing, she receives threatening notes telling her to stop searching for the truth.
Who else knows what happened that night and isn’t coming forward? And where is Cassie?
