about the book

Once again Claudette, our scrappy heroine, is out for adventure, and she is not alone: Princess Marie, her best friend, and her little brother Gaston are right along with her, prepared to right the wrongs of the universe and fight evil!

This adventure is personal. There is a dragon out there, the evil Azra, who ate Claudette’s father’s legs, and also his sword, Breaker. Claudette would like to get the sword back, and maybe the legs too if they still work… But mostly it’s the legendary sword she wants.

Nothing with Claudette is ever that easy, though. Along the way to fight Azra, Claudette, Princess Marie, and Gaston encounter an army of gargoyles, the wizard Grombach, the Mad River King, and other obstacles. At this rate, will they ever make it to the dragon’s lair?
