about the book
Three kids’ lives are going to be changed by the national Scrabble championship.
Duncan Dorfman possesses the power to read through his fingertips—he can read the tiles before he even turns them over! But should he use it? Would that be ethical?
April Blunt grew up in a family of sports fanatics. Scrabble is not considered a sport, but perhaps she can change their minds if she wins the championship… And Nate has been taught his whole life by his father on the finest points of the game.
But who is it who really wants Nate to win this thing? Nate, or his father who lost the championship in his own youth?
