about the book

fast and the furriest

March Hare, a butter-yellow rabbit, wants to be known as “the fast and the furriest” racer in Harewood. Toward that end he and his best friend and sidekick “Ham” Hammond challenge his win-at-all-costs competitor, Lyca Fox, in a street race.

March Hare’s beloved racer, the robin’s-egg-blue GT-R, is damaged. The hot hatch no longer works! To win, March will have to borrow a side mirror and quarter panel from his parent’s station wagon. Will it be enough to beat Lyca?

After March and Lyca’s race in Harewood, March’s sister, April, needs his and Ham’s help. She has started a bakery and needs delivery boys, but will March and Ham focus on making deliveries, or on speeding through the streets?

In the final story, March travels to the Great Desert for a Rally race against his nemesis, Lyca Fox, one more time. The remote and dangerous course will force March and Lyca both to question how much a victory is really worth to them.
