about the book

Do you ever find strange, unexplained messes around the house? It could be the work of…THE DINOSAURS!

At night, the plastic dinosaurs come alive and make mischief! They may be painting, washing dishes, hosting a musical concert, or accidentally breaking something, but one thing is for sure; while their owners are slumbering, the night life of the dinosaurs is wild!

about the authors

In 2012, Refe and Susan Tuma decided to convince their kids that the plastic toy dinosaurs they played with come alive at night and get into all kinds of sticky situations! It started out simply, and was first shared online, but they soon had enough photographs that they turned Dinovember (the month when the dinos come alive) into a book!

Refe and Susan wanted to create this fun and silly book because in a world of technology, chock-full of iPads and streaming movies and television, they wanted to be sure their kids learned to use their imagination and creativity.

The Tumas currently live in Kansas City, Missouri, with their four children.
